By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you to experience the thundering water.
Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by coloured lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.
The city itself has 7 golf courses – one is close to the river, so be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, cinemas and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above ground and below.

Great Views of the Falls, absolutely amazing experience. Lots of places to take long walks. The WE-GO buses were reasonably priced and a great way to get about. No easy access to across the border, you can walk but they need some sort of shuttle. (From the Canadian side to the American side) you had to use Taxi generally. You could walk but took a while, 40minutes or so.

We stayed 1 night in Niágara and we could see the Falls in the day and in the night and offcourse Walk by the main street “Cliffort” and we went to the Niágara wheel and Niágara speedway my duaghter loved these. It is a great place for kids. I honestly felt a weird vibe this time that I went during low season. For me, the whole Niagara Falls city needs a major renovation. I would consider Niagara on the Lake instead for an adult couple visiting. Clifton Hills attractions are always more of the same... The Niagara Falls is a stunning and beautiful spot, If you are going to get a taxi please confirm the price before you hop in or ask if it has a meter as I got ripped off quite badly with this one,.The Canadian side does have a better view of the falls and is cheaper,. However all the people smoking weed down the main street is a total turn off ,. If you are conservative or come from a conservative Country you may prefer the American side,.

There is PLENTY to do in Niagara Falls.
There is PLENTY to do in Niagara Falls. If you want to avoid those pesky "Tourism Fees", I would suggest you stay outside of the Tourist area (Stanley Avenue, Ferry Street, Fallsview Ave., Lundy's Lane). But .. If don't mind the extra fees, and just wanna have fun - there are great family spots on Clifton Hill, arcades, wax museums, souvenir shops, restaurants. My recommendation is "The Keg". The food is EXCELLENT and the prices are mid-range. The "All you can Eat" breakfast is good too for $10.99 CAD .. but note that drinks (non-alcoholic) are NOT included in the price. Bumper Cars, glow in the dark golf, skee ball and arcade are what I recommend on Clifton Hill. But AVOID the Skylon Tower arcade in their basement at all costs! It's dead, run-down, creepy, and two years ago someone got sexually assaulted there while exiting the washroom. That place SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ASAP. It's like a ghost town down there, with hardly any security or people there. Other than that, stick with the popular sights, and you'll have a GREAT time!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Like a mini Vegas for families. The main strip is very cool with lots to see, however tons of touristy /chain places. Also a small adult strip with several casinos and nice bars /restaraunts. Really enjoyed that area too, at night it was beautiful.melissaCanada
